# Teams and Organizations (/docs/guides/teams-and-organizations)

Organizations group your projects, services, and team members. Every user belongs to at least one organization.

## Invite Members [#invite-members]

1. Go to **Settings** → **Members**
2. Click **Invite Member**
3. Enter their email and assign a role (**Owner**, **Member**, or **Reader**)
4. **Copy the invitation link** and send it to the person directly

<Callout type="info">
  Invitation emails are not sent automatically. You need to copy the invitation link and share it yourself - via Slack, email, or any other channel.
</Callout>

Pending invitations are visible in the Members view. You can copy the link again, or cancel the invitation at any time.

## Roles [#roles]

Three roles are available: **Owner**, **Member**, and **Reader**.

* **Readers** can view everything but cannot change anything
* **Members** can also deploy services, and create and run workflows and agents
* **Owners** have full access: billing, integrations, members, API keys for the whole organization, and deleting the organization

Organization-level settings - billing, GitHub installations, Slack and Discord connections, audit configuration - are owner-only. Members and readers do not see them at all.

Assign roles when inviting, or change them later from the Members page.

### API Scopes [#api-scopes]

Owners can narrow which API scopes a member may grant to API keys and external OAuth apps, from the key icon next to a member in the Members view. Scopes apply to external credentials only - what someone can do in the dashboard follows their role.

Scopes are re-checked on every request, so lowering a member's role or scopes immediately narrows every API key and OAuth token already issued to them.

## Remove Members [#remove-members]

Click the remove button next to any member in the Members view. Ensure at least one owner remains before removing other owners.

## Organization Settings [#organization-settings]

Go to **Settings** → **Organization** to update your organization name and profile. Review integration settings (GitHub, Slack) after any changes.

## Delete an Organization [#delete-an-organization]

Only **owners** can delete an organization.

1. Go to **Settings** → **Organization**
2. Click **Delete Organization**
3. Confirm the deletion

This removes all projects, services, and associated resources permanently.
