# Astro Static Site - Blueprint (/docs/blueprints/astro-static-site)



A minimal [Astro](https://astro.build/) site built with Bun and served from an `nginx:alpine` container. Single repo, no database, no environment variables.

## What You Get [#what-you-get]

* A private clone of the template in your GitHub account
* One Rock8Cloud service wired to it
* A public URL once the first deploy finishes

The first build takes about a minute. Deploy it from **Blueprints** in the dashboard.

## Customizing [#customizing]

* Edit `src/pages/index.astro` in your new repo
* Push to your default branch and Rock8Cloud rebuilds automatically

No environment variables to set, and nothing to link. If you later need an API or a database, add a service to the same project and link its variables. See [Adding a Database](/docs/adding-a-database).
